Linda and Friends Helping Hands sprung from a grassroots group of volunteers committed to making a difference in the homeless community of Lansdale PA under the leadership of Linda Rowland. Linda has worked tirelessly since 2020 to feed, clothe, and shelter the homeless and to connect them to various community resources such that they could be more self-sufficient.

Linda and Friends Helping Hands focuses on providing for acute care needs: food, clothing, toiletries, and other items desperately needed by those living on the streets. We also try to connect those in need with the appropriate resources.  The long-term goal of the corporation is to secure housing and end homelessness, at least for a few. 
 

To be able to reach more donors and help more people, Linda and Friends Helping Hands was formed and registered in the state of Pennsylvania as a nonprofit corporation and with the IRS as a 501(c)(3).  All donations back to February 21, 2024 are tax deductible. The mission of the corporation is to provide food, clothing and shelter to those in need and, importantly, provide guidance to ultimately allow these individuals to be more independent.
